Midweek groups form the building blocks of our fellowship at St Peter's Church. For that reason we encourage every member of our church family to join a group if they can.
The groups are like 'church in miniature' in that they contain people of different ages and backgrounds. Like other small groups, they are a place where we can connect our day-to-day lives with our Christian faith, and to help each other grow as Christians.
Midweek groups normally re-read and then discuss the passage from the Bible that was preached the previous Sunday. By doing that, we hope to explore how the Bible applies to our particular lives and situations. It also means that you don't need to be an 'expert' to take part in the discussion - we've all had the opportunity to hear the sermon live or recorded, and so we can all contribute.
They meet on different nights of the week in different homes, there are also some early morning and daytime groups too, so hopefully there is hopefully a convenient group for everyone. If you would like more information about what groups exist and how to join one, please contact , or the through the website.
